Job Description

Keep our fleet running at peak performance and help power the success of our transportation operations. As a Fleet Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing our equipment, with responsibilities tailored to your experience and technical expertise. From performing preventative maintenance and essential repairs to diagnosing complex issues, completing major system overhauls, and providing technical guidance within the shop, you will contribute directly to safety, reliability, and efficiency across our fleet. This role is ideal for a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in quality work, values continuous learning, and is ready to grow their skills in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and service vehicle systems including brakes, air systems, electrical, hydraulics, and driveline components
  • Utilize shop computer systems and OEM diagnostic software to identify equipment failures and determine appropriate repair methods
  • (Senior Level) Proficiently service engine emission systems, internal engine components, HVAC, and perform welding or fabrication
  • Accurately complete work orders and evaluate repairs prior to releasing vehicles to service to ensure compliance with DOT and company standards
  • Respond to road calls and perform emergency repairs as necessary
  • Senior technicians will mentor and guide Level I and II technicians, supporting repair strategy decisions
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment and follow all OSHA, EPA, DOT, and company safety regulations

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Minimum 1-year mechanical repair or training
  • Minimum 3 years direct fleet/heavy equipment experience for Intermediate Level

Nice to have

  • Technical school education or enrollment
  • CDL Class A
  • ASE and/or OEM certifications
