Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee Market Fleet Readiness: Ensure the Waymo fleet is ready for service and align with performance goals and standards for the market.
  • Lead and Support Diagnostic Technicians: Guide and manage a team of diagnostic technicians, setting priorities and ensuring effective task execution.
  • Manage Vendor Support and Accountability: Provide daily support to vendors, ensuring compliance with operational standards and driving accountability for performance.
  • Maintain Fleet Health and Readiness: Implement strategies to keep the fleet healthy and ready for Ride-Hail services, proactively identifying and resolving issues with internal and external teams and vendors.
  • Monitor Fleet Health and Implement Corrective Actions: Collaborate with diagnostic technicians and monitor fleet health, implement necessary corrective actions, and support vendor operations.
  • Ensure Operational Efficiency and Reporting: Maintain consistent adherence to established processes and provide performance updates and insights to Fleet Manager and Head of Global Fleet Readiness.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a commercial operations and logistics role with a focus on fleet readiness initiatives
  • Proven ability to drive the execution of daily operational tasks, while ensuring operational efficiency
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, external partners and executives
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to identify gaps and make informed decisions
