Based within the Workshop Operations branch of Fleet Solutions, this role is essential for procuring equipment and managing maintenance activities for a large and diverse fleet. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a background in mechanical services or parts interpretation to support critical infrastructure services.
Job Responsibility:
Providing front-counter support by checking vehicles in and out for service/repairs and answering phone enquiries from drivers or operators
Using SAP to raise work orders for repairs and effectively scheduling maintenance tasks for mechanics
Interpreting, researching, and sourcing parts and equipment to meet fleet requirements while liaising with various stakeholders
Assisting leading hands with the scheduling of maintenance for tools and equipment to ensure compliance with WH&S and legislative requirements
Utilising corporate systems for efficient record management and identifying trends in data for business improvement
Requirements:
Prior experience as a Service Advisor, Parts Interpreter, or a background in mechanical services
Demonstrated ability in the use of SAP purchasing and efficient record management
Sound communication skills with a proven ability to provide quality customer service under competing deadlines
Strong organisational skills and the ability to source equipment through effective research and stakeholder liaison
