ANC is looking for a Fleet Performance and Improvement Lead to oversee delivery operations at our client’s site in South-West Melbourne. This role focuses on leading a team of Delivery Professionals (DPs), improving fleet performance, optimising processes, and enhancing operational efficiency. You will drive strategies that boost productivity, retention, and safety while ensuring the best possible customer experience. This is a high-impact role for someone passionate about leadership, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibility:

  • Fleet Onboarding & Engagement: Ensure Delivery Professionals are effectively onboarded, fully equipped, and motivated to deliver exceptional fleet performance
  • Performance Optimisation: Analyse fleet performance metrics, identify trends, and implement targeted strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and service quality
  • Safety & Compliance Leadership: Drive a culture of safety and compliance, ensuring operational standards are consistently met across the fleet
  • Process & Operational Improvement: Identify bottlenecks, refine workflows, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall fleet operations
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to provide insights, tools, and resources that enable operational excellence and support business objectives

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in fleet, transport, or delivery operations with a focus on performance management and process improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, optimise performance, and build strong working relationships across all levels
  • Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills to drive data-informed decisions and operational improvements
  • Flexibility to work weekends as part of a regular schedule or based on business needs
  • Experience in monitoring KPIs, tracking budgets, and implementing process enhancements to improve efficiency
