From component sourcing to end customer management, we enable and create value for Waymo through scaled and orchestrated deployment of the Waymo Driver. In this hybrid role, you will report to the Head of Fleet Development & Service Quality.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, manage, and report on complex cross functional Fleet Operations initiatives
  • Partner with OEMs to manage vehicle service, maintenance, and warranty programs for new Waymo platforms
  • Identify and execute on opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce cost in Waymo’s service and maintenance operations
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to guide systems and technology development that evolves our operational and commercial capabilities
  • Deploy innovative Fleet Operations workflows and automations that create capacity and ensure quality
  • Develop colleague’s program management tools and skills

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in related technical subject (e.g. engineering, manufacturing, or automotive)
  • and/or an MBA with practical experience in an automotive sector
  • 5+ years of experience in a combination of project management, operations management, or program management in the automotive industry
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to effectively present technical content to leadership
  • The ability to manipulate, interpret, and analyze large data sets using Google Sheets, Excel, Tableau, and/or other similar tools

Nice to have:

  • Experience in the fleet management, service and maintenance, or automotive aftersales / aftermarket sectors
  • The ability to understand and analyze legal contracts
  • Familiarity with SQL, R, or other analytics languages
