Job Description

The Maintenance Mechanic performs mechanic and maintenance work on the company fleet, including preventative maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment, and other industrial equipment (such as generators, pumps, etc.)

Job Responsibility

  • Maintains a friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers
  • Adaptable to customer needs
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other defects on fleet as needed
  • Repair and replace body components on mobile equipment (forklifts, carts, etc.)
  • Demonstrates efficient and safe use of equipment and tools
  • Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence by adherence to component and departmental training commitments
  • Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous fleet maintenance mechanic experience required
  • 8 years' experience or Journeyman's License required
  • Ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
  • Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Candidates must have completed a bona fide apprenticeship, or have 8 years of previous experience, or have a combination of previous work experience and training equivalent to a bona fide apprenticeship program in the trade.
