Avis Budget Group is looking for a Distribution Manager to join our team.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure a safe work environment and processes in and around our locations
  • Monitor productivity and processes
  • Schedule, hire, payroll, discipline and control all aspects of workforce
  • Oversee the fleet distribution within the region
  • Assigns work and provides supervision and support to associates
  • Minimize vehicle downtime and units out of service
  • Ensuring vehicles are properly inventoried to promptly identify missing and non-rentable units
  • Ensuring all vehicles have valid registration, with minimal downtime between renewals
  • Coordinating the recovering of vehicles that have been impounded, stolen and assisting with roadside assistance
  • Ensure timely and accurate in-fleeting and optimal condition for de-fleeting

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Associates degree preferred
  • Proven ability to engage a team and drive results
  • Strong communication skills and ability to provide work direction to a team of technicians and staff
  • Strong time-management, multitasking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong process orientation with a focus on continuous improvement
