We are looking for a dedicated Fleet Coordinator to join our team in Deer Park, Texas. As part of this Contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of fleet operations. This role requires a strong understanding of logistics and shipping processes, as well as the ability to work effectively in an on-site environment.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee daily fleet operations to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods
Coordinate logistics activities, including scheduling, tracking, and dispatching shipments
Manage shipping functions, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company policies
Maintain accurate records of fleet activities, including maintenance schedules and operational data
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to optimize transportation processes
Address and resolve issues related to fleet operations, ensuring minimal disruptions
Monitor and analyze fleet performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements across all fleet activities
Support cost-effective strategies for fleet management and logistics operations
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in fleet coordination or logistics
Strong knowledge of logistics, distribution, and shipping processes
Familiarity with customs regulations and compliance requirements
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Proficiency in tracking and analyzing fleet performance metrics
Problem-solving skills to address operational challenges
Commitment to working 100% on-site in Deer Park, Texas
