Requirements

4-8+ years of high-impact Product Management experience

Job Responsibility

Own the full strategy, roadmap, and flawless execution for our core Access Control hardware portfolio, managing a complex fleet of devices from launch to scale
Own the portfolio of Access Controllers
Own the portfolio of wired Readers
Own state-of-the-art accessories, including next-gen battery tech
End-to-end responsibility for the fleet management software and strategies for management of these critical devices at scale
Deeply immerse yourself in the needs of critical, high-growth segments (Federal, Healthcare, Manufacturing, K-12) to identify opportunities
Partner with Product Marketing and Sales to craft compelling GTM strategies and messaging
Serve as the passionate voice of our customers, guiding product strategy

Requirements

Associate Level: Bachelor’s degree with a focus in aerospace, mechanical, or electrical engineering, or two years’ experience in aircraft maintenance, technical training including an A&P license, and/or aviation management will be considered
Intermediate Level: A minimum 2 years of Powerplant engineering experience (e.g., airline, OEM, and/or shop)

Job Responsibility

Associate Level: Contributes to the application and management the Alaska ETOPS and APU on-demand programs
Contributes to the application and management of the Engine Condition Monitoring Program
Assists Maintenance and Technical Services teams with troubleshooting for resolution to systemic / chronic powerplant issues, minimizing aircraft downtime for unscheduled maintenance
Reviews all original equipment manufacturer (OEM) recommendations (SBs, SLs, etc.) Applicable to the fleet
Under direction of the Manager or Fleet Powerplant Engineer, authors engineering control (EC) documents (engineering orders and authorizations, fleet campaigns, etc.) to direct the incorporation of modifications, improvements, and disposition of line troubleshooting and shop requests
Learns to collaborate with the Fleet Powerplant Engineers and cross-divisional teams (e.g., records, planning, line maintenance, engine build-up shop, QC, flight operations, technical publications, etc.), ensuring efficient implementation of released EC documents
Seeks to understand all available information (e.g., AS operational data, OEM engineering data, other operators shared information, etc.) to continually improve the safe and efficient operation of the installed Powerplant(s)
Authors AS-specific engineering data for inclusion into the ICAs (manuals) for configuration control and required maintenance actions with supervision
Contributes to the reliability program. Learns powerplant and fleet initiatives and work closely with powerplant fleet engineers to support reliability initiatives
Intermediate Level: Works independently within the team to manage the Alaska ETOPS and APU on-demand programs
