Job Description

As a Fleet Allocator / Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing the efficient scheduling and operations of our Pick-Up and Delivery (PUD) fleet, ensuring the highest levels of service to our internal Freight, Warehousing, and Distribution customers.

Job Responsibility

  • Efficiently plan and schedule pick-up and delivery runs through Orcoda to maximise fleet performance
  • Maintain constant communication with drivers, assisting with job allocation
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods licenses, Driver Fatigue Laws, and all safety standards
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Address any missed or delayed pick-ups and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure that the fleet is well-maintained, meets safety standards, and adheres to load restraint and fatigue management guidelines

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Transport and Logistics industry, particularly in fleet scheduling or dispatch
  • Experience using computerized dispatch systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of NHVR Fatigue Management or BFM
  • Load Restraint Guidelines
  • Dangerous Goods handling
