Job Description:

Halvor Lines is hiring flatbed drivers and have jobs available now for experienced and new truck drivers. Drivers haul flatbed loads, which can earn more per mile and per year. The company has a large flatbed division and regularly hires drivers. Halvor Lines has been named a Best Fleet to Drive For nine years in a row.

Job Responsibility:

  • Safely securing and transporting loads using tarps, straps, chains, and other equipment
  • Driving a truck

Requirements:

  • Must complete an agility test
  • Must be able to safely lift and carry tarps (85-120 lbs), toss straps overloads, and tighten straps and chains (chains about 40 lbs)
  • Must have a CDL
  • Must have strength and fitness level to manage equipment without injury
  • Must be highly organized
  • Must be very detail-oriented
  • Must be willing and open to extra work flatbed requires
