Valid Millwright Red Seal certification
3+ years of experience in a heavy industrial or mining environment
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and alignment procedures
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and equipment manuals
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Physically fit and capable of working in demanding conditions

Job Responsibility

Inspect, maintain, and repair fixed plant mechanical equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical issues using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to maximize equipment lifespan and performance
Install and align new machinery and mechanical components
Collaborate with other trades (electricians, welders, etc.) to complete repair and maintenance tasks
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and participate in safety audits and meetings
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
