Job Description

Step into the role of Fixed Income Securities Middle Office at Barclays, where you'll provide first-class support by conducting in-depth due diligence, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and safeguarding our clients and organization with expertise and care. The role in the Fixed Income Securities Middle Office department is primarily a first-line of defence control function, tasked with ensuring that the data flowing through the Barclays IB infrastructure is complete, timely and well controlled. The IBMO helps to ensure that the downstream functions, can perform their processes with as little additional data verification and cleansing.

Job Responsibility

Requirements

  • Knowledge of electronic platforms for trading and confirmations including Bloomberg, TradeWeb, MarketAxess, Omgeo CTM and FIX
  • Client service experience – understand the needs of clients and how to manage client expectations
  • Degree educated or equivalent qualification
  • Preferably having experience in supporting Fixed Income products
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end process flows and the control points along the process chain
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong team player, self-starter with positive attitude
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines with a good sense of urgency and accountability
