Pareto Securities is looking for a driven finance student to join our Copenhagen Fixed Income desk - a part-time role offering real responsibility, close mentorship, and genuine exposure to high-yield credit markets from day one. Pareto Securities' Fixed Income Sales desk in Copenhagen is looking for a part-time student assistant to support our team with analytical tasks and ad hoc assignments. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fixed income markets at one of the Nordic region's leading independent investment banks. Our Copenhagen team consists of dedicated employees working within Sales, with a primary focus on high-yield corporate bonds. You will be embedded in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and get real exposure to the workings of a professional sales desk. The role is a part-time position (~15–20 hours per week) starting in August, with scheduling flexibility to fit around your studies.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the sales desk with market research, data gathering, and analysis of fixed income instruments
  • Prepare internal reports, presentations, and summaries for the team
  • Assist with monitoring credit markets and tracking relevant news flow
  • Help with ad hoc analytical tasks and operational support as needed
  • Gain exposure to client interactions and the day-to-day workings of a fixed income sales desk

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's programme in Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong academic track record and a genuine interest in fixed income and capital markets
  • Analytical mindset with good attention to detail
  • Able to work independently as well as contribute to a team
  • Fluent in English and Danish or another Nordic language is an advantage
