Job Description:

This team is the backbone of our Global Markets business (one of the largest of its kind in the world) and combines sophisticated 24-hour global coverage with a detailed knowledge of local markets and specializes in foreign exchange, credits and rates, structured derivatives, equities and debt, equity and equity-linked capital markets. Markets Operations is responsible for driving every part of the trade lifecycle post-execution. This team manages settlement activity, risk and control, adherence to regulatory compliance, and seamless operational client service across 58 countries and territories.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise day-to-day BAU operational process on global market products with focus on Fixed Income, which includes but is not limited to trade validation, affirmation, settlement, reconciliation, and regulatory reports
ensure all transactions undertaken are processed, properly documented, accurately recorded, checked and settled in accordance with local regulations and group guidelines, policies and standards
assess impact and partner with various stakeholders for system testing and change of any process to secure a robust operational control environment
assist Operations managers to build operational procedures in line with group standards and local regulations to accurately reflect the Bank’s total exposure and ensure settlement is processed efficiently to a minimal risk standard
provide client services on any business queries relating to the operation process and ensure a first-class service standard is extended

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business
relevant experience and responsibilities in Banking
capability of coaching and motivation and set a good example for the working group
superior problem solving and resolution skills
detail oriented with a demonstrated ability for accuracy
good command of English skills and interpersonal communication skills
Senior Securities license, Bill license and Internal Control & Internal Audit License
strong MS PC skills
