Job Description:

The Apps Support Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role responsible for supporting eTrading platforms and improving processes through automation, as well as solving technical issues directly affecting front office operations within Citi’s Rates technology.

Job Responsibility:

Management of our suite of core Rates (G10 and Local Markets) applications
Working through problems and dealing with user issues
Driving engineering initiatives
Improving process workflows
Eliminating toil through automation by building/implementing solutions

Requirements:

Direct Front Office Support Experience: 3+ years of proven experience providing technical support directly to Front Office within a financial institution
Financial Product Expertise: Hands-on experience with financial products, with a strong preference for Fixed Income/Rates
Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated hands-on technical experience, (Linux environment preferred), including system administration, bash scripting, relational databases
Production Support: Know procedures around incident handling, including identification, triage, escalation, communication, troubleshooting, resolution, post-incident review and prevention

Nice to have:

Communicating directly with US Govies, IRD, Repo traders
Experience working with eTrading platforms and the market connectivity using ION, as well as order management and lifecycle
Understanding of Bonds, Swaps, Repo, trading, risk and pricing
Python, Grafana, Linux, SQL, KDB knowledge
Good understanding of incident management with ServiceNow, JIRA
