This is an exciting opportunity to join our Fixed Income e-Sales team as a Vice President. In this role, you will act as a specialist advisor to our top-tier credit clients, helping them navigate the complexities of electronic trading. You will be at the forefront of market structure evolution, using data-driven analytics to provide bespoke execution consultancy. This is a key role that combines deep product knowledge, client relationship management, and technical expertise to enhance client outcomes and solidify Citi's position as a leader in electronic credit trading.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the execution strategy for a dedicated portfolio of key credit clients, with a focus on maximising execution quality, wallet share, and client stickiness
Advise clients on optimal execution protocols (e.g., RFQ, Algo, Portfolio Trading) and channels (Voice vs. Platform) based on deep liquidity analysis and prevailing market conditions
Utilize advanced analytics, including Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA), slippage, and hit-rate data, to deliver actionable insights and help shape client execution behaviour for better performance
Partner with clients on critical market structure topics, including data distribution, connectivity solutions, and technology platform enhancements to ensure a seamless and high-quality service
Collaborate closely with traditional Sales teams as a subject matter expert, providing detailed analysis of flow quality and the effectiveness of our electronic trading platform
Develop and manage relationships with both traditional and alternative liquidity providers to ensure our clients have access to the deepest and most reliable liquidity pools
Requirements:
Proven experience in a Fixed Income e-Sales, Sales, or Trading role, ideally at the Vice President level within a leading financial institution
Deep subject matter expertise in credit products (e.g., Corporate Bonds, Credit Default Swaps) and a comprehensive understanding of electronic trading platforms and protocols
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with demonstrable experience using execution analytics like TCA to provide consultative advice to clients
An established track record of building and maintaining relationships with sophisticated institutional clients, such as top-tier Asset Managers and Hedge Funds
Excellent understanding of fixed income market structure, liquidity dynamics, and the evolving technological landscape that underpins electronic trading
A proactive, collaborative, and client-centric mindset, with the ability to work effectively alongside sales, trading, and technology partners to deliver results
