Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Fixed Assets and Capital Expenditure professional to lead end-to-end capital expenditure processes and fixed asset accounting activities. This role is pivotal in ensuring robust financial control, compliance, accurate reporting, and continuous improvement through automation and process optimisation. The individual will work closely with local market finance teams, commercial partners, and senior finance leadership to deliver high-quality outcomes across month-end, audits, and strategic initiatives.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain and govern the fixed assets register, managing the full lifecycle of capital expenditure from project creation to capitalisation and closure
  • Deliver accurate and timely month-end activities, including journals, reconciliations, and fixed asset reporting packs
  • Design, implement, and continuously enhance controls, procedures, and documentation for asset capitalisation and compliance
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and provide clear explanations for variances and open items
  • Support internal and external audits, including SOX controls, IPE checks, and statutory audit requirements
  • Partner with local market finance operations, commercial accountants, and project teams to resolve queries and support financial performance analysis
  • Lead and support automation and transformation initiatives using tools such as SAP Fiori, Winshuttle, and UI Path
  • Prepare and present monthly and periodic reporting packs to senior finance stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to risk controls, authority levels, system rules, and service level agreements
  • Manage and support team members, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
