Fixed assets accountant

• Conduct fixed asset tagging and sighting
• Coordinate and perform cycle counts and reconcile the fixed asset register
• Maintain the fixed asset register, ensuring proper recording and tracking of all fixed assets
• Record fixed asset acquisitions and disposals promptly and accurately
• Calculate and record depreciation expenses
• Reconcile fixed asset balances with the general ledger
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed asset reporting
• Assist with fixed asset audits
• Develop and maintain fixed asset accounting policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
• Assist with other accounting duties as required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fixed asset accounting
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with fixed asset accounting software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel across Data Center locations
• Based in Kuala Lumpur or Johor Bahru
