We are seeking a Fixed Access Project Delivery Engineer to guide fixed access engineering projects from initiation to rollout within the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) framework. The individual will support feasibility assessments, lead technical delivery activities, and coordinate diverse stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of new technologies. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured project execution, technical collaboration, cross‑functional engagement, and driving reliable delivery outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the technical assessment and design phases of fixed access engineering projects from PPM Gate 1 to Gate 2
  • Serve as the accountable delivery lead from PPM Gate 2 to Gate 5/6, coordinating resources, priorities, and external partners
  • Facilitate cross‑departmental collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project plans, ensuring alignment with baseline expectations
  • Report project progress, deviations, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, data protection, and security requirements
  • Oversee project execution in line with PPM governance, quality standards, and change management processes
  • Manage project budgets within the delivery phase
  • Drive delivery activities including LLD (Low Level Design), Type Acceptance, First Site Application, and handover to Operations through RfR (Ready for Rollout) sign‑off
  • Create and maintain project reporting documentation

Requirements:

  • Experienced in telecommunications, including fixed access networks and complex systems
  • Proficient with project management methodologies, quality and change management (incl. ISO 9001)
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Familiar with MS Office, MS Project, and ideally with stage‑gate or agile development processes
  • Structured, independent, and resilient in managing responsibilities
  • Skilled in communication, capable of simplifying complex topics for diverse audiences
  • Collaborative, inclusive, and effective at working with cross‑functional and multicultural teams
