Requirements

Time-served Mechanical, Automation & Maintenance Fitter (MAMF) with minimum 3 years’ post-apprenticeship experience, ideally in a high-volume, highly automated manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical knowledge, with experience in machine repair, fabrication, and fault diagnosis
Comfortable using a wide variety of tools and maintenance techniques
Basic electrical experience is a plus
Team player with solid communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
Willingness to work on a 2-shift cycle and respond to on-site emergencies when needed
Committed to maintaining high hygiene, safety, and quality standards

Job Responsibility

Carry out routine and preventative maintenance on plant equipment
Diagnose and repair faults in machinery and systems
Respond quickly and effectively to emergency breakdowns
Fabricate and fit mechanical parts using a range of tools (turning, milling, welding, pipework etc.)
Complete maintenance records and ensure documentation is up to date
Maintain a safe, tidy working environment in line with HACCP, BRC, ISO, and Health & Safety standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Bottling, Liquid Processing, NPD) to support production efficiency
Support audits and project work as required, including occasional travel to other sites (e.g. Portlaoise)
Operate bottling line equipment occasionally as needed and support equipment trials and training
