Job Description:

The main function of a fitness specialist is to promote healthy lifestyle through exercise and health promotion, working with employee population.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assists in the deployment of health and fitness programs for employee population
  • Provides customer support by assisting employees and fitness center members with fitness programs and wellness consultations
  • Provides wellness center supervision, interacts with members and program participants, monitors equipment and participant safety
  • Conducts fitness testing and assessments
  • Provide individual and group exercise instruction
  • Designs individualized programs to meet member interests, abilities, and goals
  • Supports member enrollment and associated administrative duties

Requirements:

  • Degree in a related field 0-2 years of experience
  • Current First Aid and CPR/AED certifications are required
  • Industry recognized certification
