Job Description:

Fitness Instructor position at The Westin Mumbai Garden City assessing individual fitness levels, developing personalized exercise programs, providing fitness counseling, and promoting wellness activities for guests.

Job Responsibility:

Assess individual's current exercise program and level of fitness to develop personalized exercise programs
Provide fitness counseling
Provide advice on correct method of exercising with fitness equipment
Register and schedule guests for recreation activities
Call Maintenance for machine service
Maintain adequate supply of cups and water in recreation area
Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests
Promote rules and regulations of recreation facility
Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining employees
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
Process payments for rental equipment, recreation activities, facility rentals, or retail sales

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
Less than 1-year of related work experience
CPR Certification
First Aid Certification
Fitness Equipment certification
Any certification or training required by local and state agencies
