Job Description:

The Small Maintenance Project (SMP) Manager is responsible for directly managing small maintenance projects across our client's Egyptian portfolio while providing governance and oversight inputs to support the wider MENAT region's SMP performance. This hands-on role combines project execution with data consolidation and reporting to local clients, requiring close collaboration with the client's capital project partners

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for the creation of the capital plan in the market
  • Development of scope of work based on client request
  • Support the procurement process on vendor selections
  • Responsible for the project finance, including supports on the issuance and tracking on PO/invoicing
  • Monitor vendor's productivity and efficiency to ensure work completed within established budgets and schedules and committed quality
  • Management of project risk
  • Regular progress reporting against project plan
  • Ensuring that all materials used, and work performed are as per specifications
  • Overall supervision of project safely, security and quality of all type work
  • Support client initiatives instructed by regional team
  • Coordination with / Management of client, consultant, vendors and JLL internal stakeholders
  • Prepare and manage project budgets while identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Maintain the 'SP-ECM Tracker' and work with suppliers on energy calculation templates
  • Support sustainability initiatives by quantifying energy savings and ensuring proper documentation

Requirements:

  • Degree in engineering/construction management/project management or any relevant subject
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in engineering/construction management/project management/ program management industry with proven record
  • Knowledge standard project delivery process, from project initiation to closeout
  • Ability on work independently and strong problem solving skills
  • Negotiation and organization skills
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Arabic
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
  • Strong understanding of construction, maintenance processes, and fit-out project management
  • Knowledge of building systems, standards, and local market regulations
  • Experience with data analysis and performance reporting tools
  • Competence with MS Office suite and project management software
  • Understanding of energy calculation methodologies and ESG principles
  • Experience in stakeholder management and client relationship building
