Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our store team as a Fit-On Room Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for customers in the fitting room area, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a tidy and organized space. You will play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience by assisting customers in selecting the right sizes, keeping the fitting rooms stocked, and supporting overall store operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, helping others, and contributing to a positive shopping experience in a dynamic retail environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Greet customers warmly and offer assistance with selecting clothing items to try on
  • Ensure the fitting room is clean, organized, and well-stocked with clothing and accessories
  • Assist customers with selecting appropriate sizes and styles based on their preferences
  • Maintain the fitting room area by keeping it neat and free of clutter, folding or hanging clothing that customers no longer wish to try on
  • Provide customer service by answering questions about merchandise, sizes, and fit
  • Monitor the fitting rooms to ensure a safe and positive environment for customers
  • Help customers with additional sizes or styles when requested
  • Communicate with store associates and management to assist with stock replenishment and any special requests from customers
  • Follow store policies regarding security and loss prevention, ensuring that all items are accounted for in the fitting room
  • Assist in tidying up the store, including returning misplaced merchandise to the correct shelves
  • Assist with processing returns, exchanges, or special orders as needed
  • Stay up to date with store promotions, sales, and events to provide accurate information to customers

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is preferred but not required
  • Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with customers in a positive and professional manner
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift merchandise as needed
