Job Description:

We are looking to land an experienced Fish Supervisor to run our Fish Department like their own business.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensuring that the Department complies with all legal and company standards
  • Engaging with Customers, building relationships with them to understand their business and their needs
  • Managing a team and will relish the opportunity to train future Fishmongers
  • Using your expertise to trawl for new customers, develop existing customers business and grow the Fish Department for Booker Group
  • Delivering cash profit and sales growth
  • Managing a team to provide the highest customer service and merchandising standards
  • Ensuring compliance to health and safety and legal requirements

Requirements:

  • Previously ran your own Fish Department
  • Commercial awareness and the understanding of yields and costs
  • Excellent customer service and cutting skills
  • Experience of working with all manner of fish and knowledge of businesses within your local area is an advantage but not essential

Nice to have:

Previous experience of running a fish operation is desirable
