Job Description

A fantastic Opportunity has arisen for a First Off Inspector with CMM experience to join the team with our prestigious client Safran Helicopters Engines at their site in Fareham, initially on a 6 month contract with the possibly of this going to a perm role for the right person.

Job Responsibility

  • Complete First Off inspection of manufactured parts
  • Validate Manufacturing Setup
  • Ensure Dimensional Accuracy
  • Verify Compliance with Standards, Drawings and process sketches
  • Carry Out First Off Inspection
  • Ensure all inspection processes and documentation comply with internal procedures, industry standards, and customer requirements
  • Investigate quality issues and assist with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues
  • Support audits (internal and external) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • CMM Programs – Creation, edit and manage Revision
  • Training new starters & Shopfloor in the use of CMM inspection
