(A Boeing Company) is seeking a First-Line Manufacturing Manager (K-Level) to join the Spectrolab team in Sylmar, CA. This position will focus on supporting Spectrolab Manufacturing CIC/CTKG and Classify and Test departments.

Job Responsibility

  • Supervises employees performing multiple manufacturing processes
  • Oversee the implementation of policies and procedures in support of daily operational responsibilities
  • Provides guidance for processes and technical approaches
  • Develops and maintains relationships within operational guidelines with peers, direct reports and internal customers

Requirements

  • High school Diploma or GED
  • At least one year of experience in a leadership role OR completed Boeing internal course Exploring Leadership
  • 5+ years of related experience (semiconductor or assembly manufacturing experience)
  • 5+ years of experience working with semiconductors, test and/or assembly manufacturing
  • 1+ years of leadership experience in production / manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • 1+ years of effective team-building skills
  • 3+ years of experience with process improvement
  • 3+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership

Nice to have

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years of supervisory experience over technical work groups in the same or related field
