Boeing’s Projects, Assets, Construction, and Engineering (PACE) organization is currently seeking a collaborative, hands-on First Line Manager to lead our Project Management & Construction Management Team. This frontline leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence across a diverse portfolio of facilities planning, construction project management, and infrastructure initiatives. The position balances team leadership and development with technical oversight and consistent, measurable project delivery. Based on-site in Mesa, AZ, this role offers hands-on project leadership, strong visibility, and opportunities for career growth while supporting significant facilities and construction initiatives. Job Responsibility:
Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary team responsible for facilities planning, project administration, property administration, facilities provisioning, engineering, construction, and plant & equipment maintenance
Define project and process plans, set operational goals, and implement policies and standard work to ensure consistent execution
Provide technical oversight and approval for approaches, deliverables, and vendor work
participate in source selection and supplier management
Acquire and allocate resources, manage budgets and schedules, and drive process improvements to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to quality expectations
Build and maintain strong partnerships with site customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners to ensure needs are met and escalations are resolved
Own team performance metrics and reporting
lead continuous improvement and risk mitigation activities
Able to travel domestically up to 10%
Requirements:
5+ years of experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders
5+ years of experience in project management
3+ years of experience leading or managing large or complex teams of managers and or non-management employees
10% domestic travel
Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements
U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required
Nice to have:
Bachelor’s degree or higher (engineering, construction management, facilities, architecture, or related field preferred)
Experience with construction/project leadership (planning, implementing, and executing facility projects)
Experience with Procore, Microsoft Project (or equivalent), and PowerPoint
Experience as a strategic business partner with strong customer service orientation and teamwork skills
Experience with Long Range Business Plans (LRBP), real estate project management, and space planning
