Job Description:

First and second level support for CODESYS products and PLC applications. Working with customers worldwide. More than just an IT help center - involves understanding the CODESYS IDE, runtime systems, CODESYS Automation Server, and complex applications.

Job Responsibility:

  • First and second level support for CODESYS products and PLC applications
  • Supporting customers during commissioning
  • Independent recording of support requests via our helpdesk system
  • Analyzing problems and providing efficient solutions
  • Configuration of test systems and use for error analysis
  • Supporting our customers regarding questions about our software products
  • Working closely with our Software Development and Quality Management teams
  • Managing projects and being dedicated contact persons
  • On-site customer visits

Requirements:

  • Degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or a comparable training with a technical background
  • Sound knowledge of automation and drive technology as well as PC technology and PLC programming
  • Programming skills in the languages of IEC 61131-3
  • Knowledge of network topologies and fieldbus systems
  • Customer and service-oriented mindset and working style
  • Teamwork and strong communication skills
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills

Nice to have:

Basic knowledge of Linux systems is an advantage
