Job Description:

First Aid Trainer's required for my client across multiple locations. Permanent- Monday to Friday £25,276 per annum ASAP Start Location: Truro A driving licence and your own vehicle is a must for this role. Are you looking for a career in First Aid Training or are you a First Aid Trainer looking for a new opportunity? My client is looking for fully trained First Aid trainers to join their team through a journey of expansion. Successful candidates must have experience within a training capacity, first aid or similar. The Role: To deliver and assess a wide range of courses within your location. First Aid at Work, Fire Marshal, Mental Health etc Hours of Work: Full-time role. This role is predominantly Monday to Friday 8.30 - 4.30, business hours however there may be the occasional evening or weekend work to meet our customer's needs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver training courses and conduct assessments to a professional and consistent standard
  • Maintain own subject knowledge and professional competence in accordance with organisational requirements
  • Ensure that all equipment used is fit for purpose, is cleaned and stored in accordance with procedures and any faults or damage are reported
  • Arrive in good time, prepare the training room, liaise with venue contacts and greet learners
  • and follow the relevant procedures at the training venue, including conducting dynamic risk assessments, and prompt collection and return of keys, materials and equipment where required

Requirements:

  • 5 GCSE's C or above including English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • Driving licence and own vehicle (mileage paid)
  • Confident and able to work on your own initiative
  • Enhanced DBS check will be required

  • Identify, conduct vetting, and establish relationships with local training academies in order to provide support in the form of external training opportunities
  • Communicate with stakeholders (Regional Training Manager, Field operations, Security Professionals, Supervisors, Field and Corporate Training, and Clients)
  • Deliver field training programs in accordance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, as well as Allied Universal standards
  • Conduct CPR/First Aid/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training
  • Conduct Defensive Tactics (e.g., handcuffs, pepper spray, batons, Tasers, firearms) training
  • Conduct Mobility Devices (e.g., vehicles, bicycle, golf cart, Segway) training
  • Conduct field training for Security Professionals and Supervisors
  • Deliver Fire/Life Safety Services (e.g., emergency plans
  • occupants, floor wardens, and staff presentations
