Job Description

A highly regarded boutique plaintiff litigation firm in Seattle is seeking an experienced Firm Administrator to serve as a strategic and operational partner to the firm’s leadership. This firm handles complex, high-stakes injury matters and is known for its collaborative culture, strong reputation, and commitment to client advocacy. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day firm operations, driving administrative strategy, and ensuring the business side of the practice runs efficiently and effectively.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee daily administrative operations of the office, ensuring efficiency across all functions
  • Partner closely with firm partners on strategic planning, budgeting, and operational initiatives
  • Implement and maintain best practices for law firm management, systems, and workflows
  • Serve as a central point of coordination across attorneys, staff, and external partners
  • Lead recruiting efforts for attorneys and staff, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Develop and manage HR policies, performance management processes, and employee relations
  • Foster a positive, high-performing office culture aligned with firm values
  • Collaborate with partners and accounting to support budgeting, forecasting, and expense management
  • Oversee vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and manage service providers (IT, facilities, etc.)

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in law firm administration or legal operations
  • Strong understanding of law firm financials, HR processes, and practice management
  • Proven ability to partner with senior leadership in a strategic capacity
  • Experience managing vendors, contracts, and office infrastructure
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills

  • Provide human resources leadership across four office locations, including employee relations support, policy guidance, conflict resolution, hiring, onboarding, separations, and offboarding activities
