Job Description

We are currently looking for experienced Fire Stoppers to work on projects across Luton . The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out fire stopping works in accordance with relevant regulations and site requirements.

Job Responsibility

  • Installation of fire stopping systems including batt & mastic, fire collars, sleeves, and sealants
  • Ensuring all works comply with fire safety regulations and building standards
  • Completing quality checks and reporting works accurately
  • Using OneTrace to record and manage fire stopping works
  • Working efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Requirements

  • NVQ in Fire Stopping (mandatory)
  • Proven experience in fire stopping works
  • Competent in using OneTrace
  • Good understanding of fire safety regulations
  • Ability to work to high standards and meet deadlines

Nice to have

FIRAS certification

  • Build and organize telecommunications and equipment rooms in accordance with project specifications
  • Install firestopping systems for cable penetrations in compliance with applicable codes and standards
  • Test, troubleshoot, certify, and document copper and fiber-optic cabling installations
  • Follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies, procedures, and safe work practices
  • Load, unload, identify, and distribute materials, equipment, machinery, and tools according to project requirements
