Firefighter-Paramedic

The city of Watertown is launching its Local Register program as a new alternative pathway program for qualified and interested individuals to join the Watertown Fire Department as a Firefighter-Paramedic. This new program allows applicants to apply directly to the city in order to expedite the process of filling these key positions as the city looks to add a second ALS Ambulance. Candidates appointed through this program will receive full civil service status pursuant to M.G.L. c. 31.
