Requirements

At least five years’ experience in fire risk assessments, preferably in the property sector
Expertise in both commercial and residential fire risk assessments
Knowledge of fire safety design, construction, and layout principles
Familiarity with fire detection and suppression systems
NEBOSH General Certificate or willingness to achieve a formal H&S qualification
Strong understanding of fire hazards, risks, and mitigation strategies

Job Responsibility

Conduct Type 1-4 Fire Risk Assessments for commercial and residential properties
Develop fire strategies for complex buildings and perform passive fire protection surveys
Provide expert fire safety advice and actionable recommendations to clients
Stay updated on relevant Building Regulations and Approved Documents
Work towards or maintain third-party fire risk assessment accreditation
Apply engineering principles to fire safety projects, including the design, installation, and maintenance of fire detection and suppression systems

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
7+ years’ experience in electrical engineering, including EPC projects in metals/mining/heavy industry
Proficiency in ETAP, AutoCAD Electrical, Revit MEP, or equivalent software
Solid knowledge of electrical codes and industrial safety standards
Experience with 3-phase power distribution, substations, motors, and instrumentation systems
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for our company without the need for current or future visa sponsorship

Job Responsibility

Design and develop power distribution, lighting, fire detection, and backup systems for industrial facilities
Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, cable schedules, and specifications
Conduct site inspections to ensure proper installation and compliance with design and safety standards
Support troubleshooting and issue resolution during fabrication, installation, and commissioning
Ensure compliance with NEC, IEC, IEEE, OSHA, and local codes
Recommend and implement energy-efficient and sustainable electrical designs
Coordinate with civil, structural, and mechanical teams to integrate electrical systems into overall plant design

Requirements

Previous administrative experience within the fire, security, or electrical industry preferred (but not essential)
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail

Job Responsibility
