Job Description:

To support our continued growth, we are currently seeking a Fire stopping Installer to join our team. We are looking for someone who demonstrates a polite, friendly, and flexible can-do attitude, and is a strong team player, while also being capable of working independently. Showing a genuine interest in fire safety, along with a willingness to expand knowledge and take on new challenges, is essential. A clean driving licence and possession of your own tools are also required.

Job Responsibility:

  • Installation of Fire stopping details in line with manufacturer's installation specifications
  • All aspects of fire stopping works
  • Working in a team and independently when required
  • Liaise with management team daily
  • Carry out Fire stopping assessments and record findings using our company recording tools/programs such as Plan Radar

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in fire stopping or other relevant trade, or equivalent level of competence obtained from on-the-job experience
  • Level 2 or higher in Fire stopping inspections/installations
  • Knowledge of fire stopping materials and specific uses
  • To hold a CSCS Card
  • A Full UK driving license is essential
  • Proven experience working as a Fire stopping Installer

Nice to have:

Experience in working in the social housing/health/high street sector and a trade background experience would be useful
