Job Description

As a Fire Sprinkler Technician with Cooper Mechanical Solutions, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems. We are looking for someone with strong technical skills, the ability to think critically in the field, and a passion for providing outstanding service to our customers.

Job Responsibility

  • Inspect, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems for commercial and industrial properties
  • Troubleshoot and repair sprinkler systems, ensuring all components meet safety and regulatory standards
  • Perform backflow testing and certification as needed (certification a plus)
  • Provide excellent customer service, communicating clearly with clients regarding system needs and updates
  • Maintain inventory of necessary parts and tools
  • Work independently while ensuring compliance with company and industry standards
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, codes, and regulations

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Fire Sprinkler Technician
  • Backflow certification is a plus
  • Additional sprinkler licenses and certifications are highly desirable
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire sprinkler systems
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to maintain a clean and professional appearance
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Nice to have

  • Backflow certification is a plus
  • Additional sprinkler licenses and certifications are highly desirable
