Job Description:

Brook Street Recruitment is working on behalf of our Belfast client who is a well-established and highly respected provider of fire and electronic security solutions across commercial, industrial and public sector environments throughout Northern Ireland. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are seeking an experienced Fire & Security Installation Engineer with CCTV expertise to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company known for its high technical standards, long-term contracts and stable workload.

Job Responsibility:

  • Installation, commissioning and maintenance of: Fire alarm systems
  • Intruder alarm systems
  • CCTV systems (essential)
  • Access control systems
  • Fault finding, diagnosis and system repairs
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits
  • Completing detailed and accurate service documentation
  • Ensuring all work complies with current industry standards and regulations
  • Providing on-site technical support and guidance to clients
  • Participating in an on-call rota (where required)

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Fire & Security Engineer (installation-focused)
  • Strong experience installing and commissioning CCTV systems
  • Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Experience with a range of manufacturers such as: Gent, Advanced, Hikvision, Paxton, Honeywell Galaxy, Texecom (or similar systems)
  • A strong understanding of current fire and security industry standards
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Good communication skills and a professional approach on client sites
  • A full UK driving licence
