Job Description:

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to play a key role in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly. The Fire & Security Engineer Co-ordinator will act as the central link between clients, engineers, and management, ensuring that all jobs are efficiently scheduled, documented, and completed to the highest standard. This role will suit someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, thrives on variety, and takes pride in keeping things running like clockwork.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate service, maintenance, and installation appointments for engineers
  • Act as the first point of contact for client and supplier enquiries via phone and email
  • Support engineers and management with project documentation and reporting
  • Maintain accurate client records, certificates, and compliance documentation
  • Process quotes, invoices, and purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner
  • Monitor stock levels and order materials, equipment, and consumables when required
  • Manage CRM and job management systems to ensure accurate data entry and tracking
  • Provide general administrative support including filing, photocopying, and document control
  • Assist with ad hoc office and project coordination tasks to support the wider team

Requirements:

  • Previous administrative experience within the fire, security, or electrical industry preferred (but not essential)
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new software systems
  • A proactive team player with a flexible, can-do attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of compliance or certification processes (e.g., fire safety, electrical testing) advantageous
