Job Description:

An established and forward-thinking consultancy is seeking a competent Fire Safety Manager to join their specialist fire division. This critical opportunity involves delivering fire safety advice across various projects, ensuring compliance with current legislation, and collaborating with architects, building control, and project management teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering expert fire safety advice across new builds, refurbishments, and occupied buildings
  • Carrying out fire risk assessments (Type 1-4)
  • Writing fire strategy reports
  • Providing ongoing client consultancy to ensure fire safety compliance under current legislation

Requirements:

  • Level 4 Fire Risk Assessor qualification (or working towards)
  • NEBOSH Fire Certificate or equivalent
  • Strong working knowledge of fire safety legislation and codes (PAS 79, BS 9991/9999)
  • Experience with residential, commercial, or public buildings
  • Excellent report-writing and client-facing skills
  • Ideally a member of the IFE or IFSM
