A well-established, medium-sized Fire Consultancy, is looking to appoint a Fire Risk Assessor to join their growing Fire Safety team. This Fire Risk Assessor will join a respected consultancy delivering Fire Risk Assessments, fire strategy advice, and compliance services across a diverse portfolio including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. The successful Fire Risk Assessor will benefit from joining a collaborative team of experienced consultants, working on technically interesting projects while receiving structured support and clear progression.
Job Responsibility:
Delivering high-quality Fire Risk Assessments across a varied client base, including housing associations, local authorities, and private sector clients
Carrying out Type 1-3 Fire Risk Assessments, with exposure to more complex projects as experience develops
Liaising directly with clients, providing clear, practical recommendations and ensuring full compliance with current fire safety legislation
Managing own diary, covering projects across the Midlands and occasionally into the North, with flexibility around home working
Requirements:
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Fire Risk Assessment (or equivalent)
Experience delivering Fire Risk Assessments independently
Strong understanding of UK fire safety legislation and guidance
Excellent report writing and client-facing skills
Full UK driving licence
