An industry-leading fire engineering/safety consultancy is looking for an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join their growing team. With an impressive 40% year-on-year growth, this consultancy works with a diverse range of clients, delivering high-level fire risk assessments and fire safety assurance across complex and high-rise buildings.
Job Responsibility:
Carrying out FRAEWs and Type 4 Fire Risk Assessments across a range of properties
Conducting external façade fire safety assessments and fire safety assurance reports
Providing expert fire safety advice to clients, ensuring compliance with building safety regulations
Identifying fire safety risks in high-rise and complex structures, recommending practical solutions
Producing detailed fire risk assessment reports in line with current legislation and best practice
Keeping up to date with fire safety regulations, industry guidance, and technical developments
Requirements:
Relevant fire safety qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH Fire Certificate, IFE accreditation, or equivalent)
Tier 3 registered minimum
Proven experience conducting FRAEWs, Type 4 Risk Assessments, and façade fire safety reports
High-rise building experience – essential for this role
Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation, including the Fire Safety Act and Building Safety Act
