Job Description:

An established and growing fire consultancy seeking a professional Fire Risk Assessor to carry out comprehensive risk assessments across the South of England, working across residential, commercial, and public buildings. Flexible home-based report writing and scheduling available.

Job Responsibility:

Completing Type 1-4 Fire Risk Assessments
Providing detailed reports and practical recommendations
Helping clients meet their legal obligations under the Fire Safety Order 2005 and Building Safety Act
Communicating confidently with clients, contractors, and compliance teams

Requirements:

Minimum Level 3 Fire Risk Assessment qualification (e.g. FPA, IFSM, IFE recognised)
At least 2 years of experience conducting Fire Risk Assessments
Knowledge of PAS 79, BS 9997, and relevant fire legislation
Full UK driving licence – travel across the South is essential
Strong written communication and report writing skills
Membership with IFE or IFSM (or working towards)
