Job Description:

An established and growing fire consultancy seeking a professional Fire Risk Assessor to carry out comprehensive risk assessments across the South of England, working across residential, commercial, and public buildings. Flexible home-based report writing and scheduling available.

Job Responsibility:

  • Completing Type 1-4 Fire Risk Assessments
  • Providing detailed reports and practical recommendations
  • Helping clients meet their legal obligations under the Fire Safety Order 2005 and Building Safety Act
  • Communicating confidently with clients, contractors, and compliance teams

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 Fire Risk Assessment qualification (e.g. FPA, IFSM, IFE recognised)
  • At least 2 years of experience conducting Fire Risk Assessments
  • Knowledge of PAS 79, BS 9997, and relevant fire legislation
  • Full UK driving licence – travel across the South is essential
  • Strong written communication and report writing skills
  • Membership with IFE or IFSM (or working towards)
