Job Description:

A long-established, multi-disciplinary consultancy seeks a confident Fire Risk Assessor to conduct fire safety inspections across public, commercial, and residential premises. Work involves extensive UK-wide travel, aligning assessments with PAS 79 and fire safety legislation. Responsible for reporting, client advice, and ensuring compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

Job Responsibility:

Carrying out detailed fire risk assessments in line with PAS 79 and current fire safety legislation
Preparing clear and actionable reports
Liaising directly with clients
Offering expert advice to ensure compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
Conducting site inspections across the UK
Adapting to travel and overnight stays based on project location

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience carrying out fire risk assessments
NEBOSH Fire Certificate or equivalent fire safety qualification
IFE membership or working towards (desirable)
Full UK driving licence
Comfortable with regular travel and lone working
Strong IT and report writing skills
