Job Description:

An internationally respected consultancy is looking to appoint a skilled Fire Engineer to join their London fire safety team. The successful Fire Engineer will play a key role in delivering fire strategies for high-profile projects across sectors such as transport, heritage, education, and commercial development. The consultancy has been a leader in fire engineering for over 50 years, contributing to award-winning projects. This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, fire modelling, and the development of fire safety strategies.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and deliver project-specific fire strategies
Apply UK fire safety legislation and guidance across various sectors
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and external stakeholders
Support the use of fire modelling and risk assessment tools
Participate in technical development and internal knowledge-sharing

Requirements:

Degree in Fire Engineering, Building Services, or a related subject
Experience within a fire consultancy or relevant engineering environment
Strong understanding of UK building regulations and fire safety codes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Working towards Chartered Engineer status
