Job Description:

A leading multidisciplinary consultancy seeks a Fire Engineer to join their London team to deliver high-quality fire safety solutions across a wide range of projects in both public and private sectors.

Job Responsibility:

Producing clear and concise fire safety reports for new builds, refurbishments and complex developments
Engaging directly with clients, design teams and external stakeholders
Applying strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and guidance
Identifying and delivering practical, risk-informed fire safety strategies
Supporting senior staff with project management and mentoring junior colleagues

Requirements:

Degree in Fire Engineering or closely related discipline
Proven experience in fire consultancy or similar environment (12-18 months minimum)
Up-to-date understanding of UK fire regulations and standards
Excellent written communication skills for technical reports
Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in client-facing scenarios
Pragmatic, solution-focused mindset for complex fire safety challenges

Nice to have:

Chartership (CEng)
Professional memberships (MIFireE, FIFireE, MIFSM, FIFSM)
CFD Modelling experience
Knowledge of Building Safety Act
