Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Fire Engineer to join a boutique multidisciplinary consultancy based in the heart of London, near Hatton Garden. This dynamic SME is known for its expert approach and commitment to delivering tailored fire safety solutions across the residential sector, encompassing both new builds and existing housing.

Job Responsibility:

  • Producing Fire Risk Appraisals of External Walls (FRAEWs)
  • Creating detailed fire strategies for new and existing residential properties
  • Interpreting and applying fire safety regulations
  • Offering expert guidance on building façades and compliance with legislation such as the Building Safety Act 2022 and Fire Safety Act 2021

Requirements:

  • Member of IFE or IFSM
  • Degree educated in Fire Engineering or other Engineering background
  • Strong understanding of Facade systems
  • Experience managing complex residential projects
  • FRAEW’s experience
