A respected medium-sized fire consultancy based in the Midlands is seeking a talented Fire Engineer to join their growing team. This consultancy delivers a broad portfolio of residential, commercial and mixed-use projects across the North and Midlands, offering their Fire Engineer exposure to varied and technically engaging work. The successful Fire Engineer will be joining a collaborative environment where their input is valued from day one. This Fire Engineer position is ideal for someone looking to develop their consultancy experience while working alongside experienced professionals. The Fire Engineer will play a key role in delivering fire strategies and supporting clients across multiple sectors. As a Fire Engineer, there will be strong support towards chartership and continued professional development.

Job Responsibility:

Producing fire strategy reports
Conducting fire risk assessments
Supporting design teams through RIBA stages
Liaising with clients, architects, and regulatory bodies
Ensuring compliance with UK fire safety legislation
Conducting site visits and inspections

Requirements:

Degree in Fire Engineering or a closely related discipline
Experience within a consultancy environment is preferred
Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations and fire safety standards
Progress towards IEng or CEng is advantageous
