Job Description:

A well-established fire consultancy in the North West is seeking a Fire Engineer to join their growing technical team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Fire Engineer to work on a wide range of projects including high-rise residential, commercial developments, and complex refurbishments. The successful Fire Engineer will be part of a collaborative environment, delivering innovative fire engineering solutions. This Fire Engineer role offers exposure to end-to-end project work, from design through to completion, alongside clear progression pathways.

Job Responsibility:

  • Developing fire strategies
  • Carrying out detailed fire modelling
  • Supporting design teams to achieve compliance with UK fire safety regulations
  • Liaising closely with architects, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Producing technical reports
  • Reviewing designs
  • Attending client meetings
  • Supporting junior team members
  • Contributing to continuous improvement within the consultancy

Requirements:

  • A degree in Fire Engineering or a related discipline
  • Experience in fire strategy development and regulatory compliance
  • Knowledge of BS standards and UK Building Regulations
  • Strong communication and report writing skills
  • Progress towards Chartered status (desirable)
