Core Duties: Perform scheduled and reactive remedial works, repairs, and adjustments on fire doors and frames. Carry out fire door inspections, installations and repairs identified on fire doors. Assess and order parts and equipment necessary for individual tasks. Assist with other trades including general maintenance, minor joiner, minor plumbing etc. Ensure all repairs and installations adhere strictly to regulatory standards. Accurately complete all necessary compliance documentation, reports, and certification logs using mobile technology. Collaborate with site teams and clients, ensuring high standards of workmanship and minimal operational disruption. The Requirements: Prior fire door experience (Essential). FDIS Diploma or equivalent. Experienced within a similar maintenance/trades position. Must hold a full, clean UK driving licence. Ambitious attitude and readiness to specialise in fire safety compliance. Must hold or be able to pass a standard DBS. Skills: ability to follow job and safety instructions. Qualifications: driving licence.
